Tinvest: A Chrome Add-on for Tinkoff Terminal and Earnings Whispers

Tinvest is a free Chrome add-on developed by Касымов Нурлан, also known as daager. This add-on provides convenient access to Tinkoff Terminal and Earnings Whispers, making it easier for users to manage their investments.

With Tinkoff Terminal integration, users can select tickers from a dropdown list and easily navigate through the platform. The add-on also enhances the Tinkoff website by making the list of securities more compact and visually appealing. Additionally, when viewing individual stock pages, users can see the real income, taking into account previous transactions, dividends, and commissions. The background color of the page changes to green or red based on the stock's profitability.

Tinvest offers useful features such as calculating the required price increase for a stock to break even, exporting portfolios and transactions to CSV files, and displaying a table of purchased stocks that are still held. It follows the principle of FIFO (First In, First Out), allowing users to sell stocks bought earlier and record losses accordingly. Furthermore, it provides a seamless transition to the Tinkoff Terminal page without any intermediate steps.

In addition to Tinkoff Terminal integration, Tinvest also enhances the Earnings Whispers website. It provides numbered company listings, the ability to hide non-Tinkoff stocks, and displays the time in Moscow (MSK) alongside the US time. When hovering over a ticker, users can see a chart for the current year. The add-on also highlights tickers available in Tinkoff for easy identification. Finally, Tinvest enables users to view charts on Earnings Whispers using Stockcharts.
